A substantial antique blue and white square punch bowl from the Qianlong period presents a finely painted garden scene across its exterior, graceful bamboo and lush peonies animated by delicate butterflies and a solitary dragonfly. The interior reveals a classic Chinese hut set upon a hill, framed by trees and distant mountains.

The piece displays natural signs of age consistent with two centuries of history, including a slight glaze flake along the rim, which does not detract from the bowl’s elegant composition, refined brushwork, and compelling provenance as a Qing-era export or domestic ware.
